Lady Empire is a band from Richmond, Va whose sound is rooted in folk, alternative and americana. Isaac Friend is the lead singer, songwriter and rhythm guitarist. Former Conditions drummer, Ryan Tinsley, heard Isaac play an acoustic set and decided he wanted to play together. Joe Vanderhoff joined as lead guitarist and back up vocalist, and Lady Empire was formed.
